Core Wrap

Core Wrap Nonwoven is the tissue or nonwoven layer that wraps around the absorbent core of a diaper, sanitary napkin, or underpad. Its primary functions are to contain the SAP and fluff pulp mixture, provide structural integrity to the core during use, and allow liquid to pass through freely.

Why Core Wrap Matters

Without a quality core wrap nonwoven, SAP particles can escape the core during manufacturing or use, causing contamination and reducing absorption performance. The core wrap must have fine enough fiber structure to contain SAP powder while maintaining high porosity for unimpeded liquid flow. Wet strength is equally critical — the wrap must not disintegrate when saturated.
