The PP Magic Hook Side Tape Equipment is a complete production line for manufacturing the hook side of mechanical diaper closure systems. It produces polypropylene hook tape — the component with thousands of tiny mushroom-shaped hooks that grip the loop landing zone on the front of the diaper.

Manufacturing Hook Tape for Diapers

This PP magic hook side tape machine uses injection molding or extrusion technology to form microscopic PP hooks on a film backing. The production process includes: PP film extrusion, hook formation (via mold pin or embossing roll), adhesive coating on the back side, release liner application, slitting to width, and spooling or festoon packaging. Quality control systems monitor hook density, hook height, and adhesive coating weight inline.
