Composite Membrane Equipment is a lamination machine that bonds nonwoven fabric to PE film using hot melt adhesive or ultrasonic technology. The resulting composite material is used as the backsheet layer in premium diapers and pull-up pants, combining the waterproof barrier of PE film with the soft, cloth-like feel of nonwoven.

Nonwoven-to-Film Lamination Technology

The composite membrane lamination machine feeds nonwoven and PE film from separate unwinds, applies a precise hot melt adhesive pattern, and laminates the two webs under controlled pressure and tension. The resulting composite backsheet material can be wound onto rolls for off-line use or fed directly into an in-line diaper production process. Modern machines feature automatic web tension control, precise glue application with multi-nozzle heads, and inline inspection for lamination defects.
