The Leg Cuff Nonwoven is a hydrophobic barrier material used in the standing leg cuffs of baby diapers, adult pull-up pants, and training pants. Its water-repellent properties create a physical barrier that prevents side leakage of urine and liquid stool, keeping the wearer and clothing dry.

SMMS Leg Cuff Technology

The leg cuff nonwoven is manufactured using SMMS technology (Spunbond + Meltblown + Meltblown + Spunbond), which combines the strength of spunbond polypropylene with the fine filtration of dual meltblown layers. This structure provides excellent hydrophobic performance while maintaining softness against the delicate skin of thighs and legs. With a basis weight of just 10-18 gsm, it achieves the ideal balance of lightness and functional performance.
